Evening all, back to domestics after our massive victory on Thursday and it's Burnley who after 10 years are Dycheless. It will be difficult to know if there will be a bounce from their new 4 man caretaker team and difficult to tell after Thursday to see if we can get off cloud 9. If you fancy a punt you can get Ratch 22/1 Arthur 13/2 Desmond 12/1 Leonard 7/1
COME ON YOU MASSIVE MASSIVE IRONSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Morning from Sydney pdcwhu and all! Got this one in the bag, I reckon. Burnley in turmoil and us coming off a MASSIVE win. Fully expect a 3-1 win. Personally I would love to see us give one of the youngsters a run out. Rest somebody's tired legs. Let's fuckin 'ave it!

If Thursday's elation beats Thursday's exhaustion, we will win.
What have Burnley got to do with it? (tic)

Charley, ted, all..
Pre Dyche sacking I didn't fancy this one much, BUT now the ginger one has gone we have to go for this now, even more so with Arse and Spuds losing. Chelsea next week is the time to rest up.
Oohhhh, I could crosh a grape.

Energy - will we have any? That's my concern.
Also, now we're in a European Semi Final (Oh, yes, we fucking are), players will be wary of getting injured.
Moyes isn't the twist kinda guy, and he'll stick with the same 11 from 13.

I think Moyes should rotate the team today. He won't, but he should Pkayers such as Yarmolenko, Vlasic, Kral, Fredericks should in my opinion come in and be chomping at the bit to play a part today, good chance to get into Moyes thinking for the two legs against Frankfurt and it would give Soucek, Antonio, rice. A much needed rest. Moyes will burn them out otherwise.

They have a week after this why should he, and anyway I trust Moyes at present to do what he thinks best.

I'd definitely consider resting Antonio and Soucek.
Antonio has been fucked for ages and piut in a great effort Thursday, can't see him being great today.
Bowen can go up front and Benrahma on the right.
Rice doesn't need a rest, I reckon he thrives on it.

On initial thoughts you’d want a good few changes due to tiredness but in reality a good few players need the games.
- fabianski (isn’t played in Europe)
Coufal (coming back in so needs a run of games)
Diop (coming back in so needs a run of games)
Creswell (controversial but has played centre back and has the left foot and experience to balance Diop)
Johnson (some starts at left back will help his form)
Noble (has the experience and professionalism to handle this start)
Kral (he has to get a game at some time)
Bowen (has been out with injury so the more games the better)
Lanzini (same as Bowen)
Benrhama (in and out the side so needs the game time for form)
Yarmalenko (he can lead the line, albeit slower than Antonio but Bowen and Benrhama should adjust for that)
That isn’t a huge amount of changes and gives some needed rest for:
Soucek Rice Dawson Fornals Antonio
In my opinion that team beats Burnley.

I highly doubt he will play Cresswell at CB in a back 4 against that beanpole.

They will sit deep but at the same time look to press when we have it. They also will test our CBs with Weghorst being good in the air. We have struggled at times with teams that put 10 behind the ball and do what we are good at which is counter attacking. They will put everything into the game unless the sacking has undermined confidence or morale? But then again some players may have found Dyche was getting on their case and will now feel better he has gone? We just don’t know.
Dyche’s influence on the touch line missing may be a miss or alternatively might help some players if he was laying into them? Again it’s hard to know?
The emotional and adrenaline effect as well as physical impact of Thurs games Must be a factor. Let’s hope it’s positive for us this time.
In summary, I suspect a harder game than some think. Don’t think Moyes will rest many either. He never does and with our squad of about 14 trusted players he doesn’t have many options anyway
